It’s estimated that children are the most prone to tooth decay. Sealants are a protective coating on the back teeth to prevent decay. These teeth are also known as the molars and are disposed to decay because of leftover food particles. We recommend getting sealants once the molars come into the mouth. The first set occurs around the ages of 5-7 while the second set comes in at the ages of 11-14.
We begin the sealant process with a sealant adhesive. The sealant itself will be placed on top of the adhesive. This liquid will harden and solidify the protection from bacteria, plaque, and food particles. Our sealants will last for 10 years!
