How do you perform a dental implant procedure?
During your initial consultation, we will take an x-ray of your mouth and teeth. Then, we will take impressions of the treated area in order to create teeth replacements to fit your mouth.
Before the procedure, we will apply a local anesthetic to numb the area. Your specialist will make an incision to place the implant into your jawbone. We will bandage the area with gauze and wait for your jawbone to integrate with the implant. Afterward (3 months later), you will have another procedure to place a crown on top of the implant.
